Good news is that my new Canon 7D came a few days ago and now I'm getting the hang of filming I shall be posting a video, but not sure what to do it on, so give me some ideas and I'll film the most common suggestion.

Birthday blog!

So today it is my birthday! Yay!
Only been a tad excited all day and feeling fat from the chocolates I have received....FATTIE

At the mere age of 17 I am getting a bit old and decrepit and according to my good old best friend I am in need of a wheelchair. But in all seriousness I am having a great day and it keeps getting better and better.

Awful lighting but flowers, card, ring.
Woke up to my gorgeous boyfriend singing Happy Birthday to me, he then went to go and get me a huge bunch of beautiful flowers and my card which he wrote a little soppy message in because we are a soppy as couples could possibly come! He then also decided to do a fake proposal with a eternity ring band we had bought together (he made me go up and get it, cheeky sod) Opening up the little ring box and on one knee, made me laugh and of course I said yes ;) But all in all it was a joke and unfortunately was not a real engagement ring! (NO WEDDINGS UNTIL YOUR STABLE WITH MONEY SOPHIE!) Adding to the laughing and smiling he then brought me up scrambled eggs on toast with bacon, although I had to instruct him on how to make the scrambled eggs.

Later on in the day I had my best friend come over and opened all her presents which were all wrapped delicately and then I just ripped them all open, I don't know anyone who carefully rips open a present? But each present represented me in a different way, I am not going to name every single present I got from her or my family but they are all so appreciated and I love every single person who gave them to me!

My brother did a wonderful job of my envelope and it did make me very proud to have him as my brother who can draw way better than me and is a lot more artist than me!

Tonight I am to eat like anything with my second family (boyfriends) a good old chinese, I mean come on who doesn't love a chinese any day of the week no matter how you feel!?

I will be filming a Shopping/Birthday Haul soon so keep checking for the video to be up and I should be posting again soon!

Morning skincare

My skin can become oily especially in the summer! My make up never wants to stay on my face for more than a few hours and I have found a way to keep it on for a lot longer so here is my morning skin care. You know when you wake up you look like you've been dragged through a bush backwards and your face is like the sun shining from the lovely natural oil your face has....Or is that just me? Anyway so I use 3 products for washing my face, I know this might seem a lot but each one does it's own different thing to my skin.

For getting that awful shin from my face I use Clean&Clear Morning Energy Shine Control Daily Facial Scrub (a bit long) This is amazing for getting rid of my shining face in the morning it leaves my face matte you could say, although it does make my face feel a little tight I just had some of my OIL FREE moisturiser and my skins plumps out you could say. The smell of this scrub is amazing it has lemongrass and fruit extracts and you can really smell it on your face and in the tube which is a plus if anything smells good then there is a higher percent chance I'll like it!

For just a general scrub that gets rid of your dead skin and leaves you with skin as smooth as a baby's bottom it has to be Soap&Glory Flake Away. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scrub it leaves my skin so soft and silky! I have to say if Soap&Glory want to send my anything to review or trail then I would take it without thinking, their products are just so amazing and I have used a lot of their products as they are not the most cheapest or the most expensive they are the right price for what you get and they can last for ages if you don't over do it. I also love the smell of this scrub with shea butter, sugar, peach seed powder, sea salt, grapeseed and almond oils...*breath* Recently I've noticed they have brought out a cosmetics line and I am pretty excited and might have to go a buy some as they seem like amazing and have seen good reviews for them, let me know if you'd like to see some reviews on any of the products.

And finally I'm not prone to whiteheads or pimples I may get the odd one or two now and again or some small groups around my face but nothing to bad, but I have awful pores and blackheads all around my face! It's horrible and although you can cover up with foundation you can only hid so much! I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub I haven't been on this product for long but I have seen some different but nothing major and I've been looking into the Soap&Glory Scrub Your Nose In It Multitasking Scrub And Mask which has a lot of good reviews and I always seem to go back to Soap&Glory products.

Review! Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara, Revlon Age Defying Foundation

I got these 2 products around a week ago from my work and they were very cheap! The Revlon foundation was meant to be retailed at £12.99 but from my work was only £2.99 so I thought why not just buying it an try it out. The Maybelline mascara was only £2.99 instead of £8.19 from Boots, so again I thought might aswell try it out and review it for you all.

Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara
Does exactly what it says on the tube "No clumps, separation, voluptuous volume" It coats every lash leaving it separated, looking long and voluptuous! I have very stubborn lashes and not exactly the longest in the world but once they have been curled with my eyelash curler then they can be a bit more cooperative. The brush it a plastic brush which I find appeals to me a lot more than the normal traditional brushes but that has changed and I have been liking the traditional brushes more but hey ho! Like I said above I've worn and trailed this mascara for a little under a week and my lashes have stayed up and look amazing throughout the day and they haven't slumped like most mascaras make my lashes do after a good few hours in the wind and fiddling with my eyes. I'd give this mascara 8/10 and it's definitely become one of my favourites although I wish I didn't get the waterproof, too much effort to get off.

Revlon Age Defying Foundation

This foundation....Ehhh! It has good coverage but nothing too speculator! I like the idea of being able to turn it on a off which might not be great for some people but I am easily amused, the brush at the end is another good idea although I feel like it will become dirty and that I won't be able to wash it from all the dirt and bacteria that will come from my face. If I was or wanted to wash the brush then it is very possible I could ruin the foundation and the way it comes out from the tube. When applying this foundation it felt like I was plastering it on and not getting that much coverage out of it, the texture on my face was a little uncomfortable as it felt like I was literally caked in my own foundation. For the constancy feeling like that on my face there was not a great amount of coverage which was disappointed as it did look kinda nice on. For the price I can't complain but for the retail price it is a bit high on price for the poor quality. I'd give this foundation a 6/10.

DIY Tinted Moisturiser

So you don't seem to ever find the perfect tinted moisturiser? It's not the right colour, seems too thick or even too little coverage. Feels like a lot of effort to put it on and blend. Well this is the solution!

Your regular foundation + your trusty moisturiser = wonderful tinted moisturiser

It seems like total logic when you think about it  and you do wonder to yourself
"Why did I not think of this ages ago!?"

My foundation Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation - I find can be sometimes  abit stubborn to put on my skin and feel myself pretty much brushing some of my foundation off my own face from the pure 'blending'. My moisturiser Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturiser Oil-Free is wonderful. I'm on my 2nd tube this year. My skin tends to be more oily in the summer  oily skin and my make up just runs off my face.

Soo...to start of with get your foundation and your moisturiser. Add a little pea size of moisturiser and then a little more of your foundation (1 part moisturiser 2 part foundation) You can add this to the back of your hand, a mixing palette or anything you feel dandy using to mix it all up. Once you've mixed it all up with your foundation brush will most likely be easier but whatever floats your boat! Then all you do is add it to that wonderful face of yours and your pretty much done with your DIY Tinted Moisturiser!

Hope this has been helpful.
